Welcome to the final day on your path to a happier and healthier you. I hope you have noticed some of the changes towards self-improvement so far!

For the 21st day of our 21 days to a happier and healthier you, Indigo Yoga challenges you to change your perspective to one of non-judgemnet. Today I want you to put yourself in EVERYONE else’s shoes and see without judgement. People tend to immediately judge a person based on something silly they said or did – but today you are going to dig deeper and try to see that person for who they are.

Here are two examples to help put things in perspective:
1. Let’s think on this example – have you ever seen a girl dancing like an idiot and you looked at her and thought “who does she think she is? She’s crazy.” Now ask yourself – when you are comfortable at home and with your closest friend and able to let loose- do you ever get to dance wild and carefree? Before passing judgement on that girl – look at her and think “if only the whole world was as comfortable in their own skin then everyone would dance and be carefree.” Loosen up and see her differently.
2. How about this example – have you ever had an encounter with a miserable person and immediately thought to yourself “that person is such a miserable jerk.”? Now ask yourself – have you ever had a really rough day and wanted nothing more than to curl into a ball on your couch. Have you ever been so grumpy or hungry or uncomfortable that you just didn’t want to socialize with anyone? Maybe this person is having a rough day, or week, or a tough period in their life. Maybe they have gone through something that has caused them to be so miserable. Have compassion and understand this person – do not judge them.

Today anytime you pass any judgement - take a moment and try and understand each person. Even if you have to create a story in your own head to make sense of why that person is the way they are right now…. And then be nice.

Don't forget - keep track of your eating habits, sleeping patterns, hydration, and activity level today. Eat lots of vegetables, get rid of added sugar, limit gluten and dairy intake and drink plenty of water! Keep a journal and take 5-10 minutes this morning to set an intention and meditate to kick start your day. Wind down with 5-10 minutes at the end of your day by reflecting on the day and record your feelings and results. Send your journal notes or any questions to us at info@indigoyogastudios.com for additional support and guidance. Need some ideas for boosting your activity? Here's today's yoga class schedule:  6:00am Vinyasa Flow, 8:30am Alignment Yoga, 6:00pm Power Yoga, and 7:15pm Good Vibes Power Yoga

Namaste :)
