Caldwell 45 Express
We all know we need yoga for as many hours as possible, but we also have to be adults and take care of work and family.
Sometimes we have to shorten our practice just to carve out a little time for ourselves and make it to work on time.
That’s why we are offering an abbreviated morning vinyasa practice. The Caldwell 45 Express. Tuesdays 6:15 - 7am
Dark Yoga
Yoga has always been more than just another form of exercise or a simple "Live, Laugh, Love" sentiment.
Svadhyaya, or self-study, is a principal component of the practice. Throughout history, myths, folk tales, and fairy tales have served to mirror humanity back to itself, offering grit and wisdom rather than mere fluff. Ever read the original Grimm's Fairy Tales? Or Weird New Jersey? It is no wonder, then, that every yoga asana has an origin story. The names and shapes we create in class are never random.
Join Shawn and Kelli for Dark Yoga. Remembering the energy from that amazing show, when we were all there to do one thing- enjoy the band, together, no drama. This class will be set to a heavy metal, hard rock, punk, and hardcore playlist; this session encourages the energy needed to dive deep into the stories behind the postures. Come have fun, move in ways that inspire, and challenge your strength and endurance as you build a balanced body and mind. Discover why we practice these specific postures and how yoga reveals us back to ourselves
Dynamic Flow
This class is based on the Power Vinyasa style of yoga. Linking one posture seamlessly to the next in an invigorating dynamic flow sequence, this class will have opportunities to grow.
You will have options to level up or level down. Using specific postures that will focus on the engagement of the core to empower strength, this class will then utilize core strength to work on deepening a balancing practice. Next, it's down to the floor for backbends and a well-deserved savasana.
Dynamic Flow will take you to your edge and make you sweaty. Learn to go with the flow and find your authentic power to feel alive.

Indigo's heated classes reach into the mid to upper 90 degree range, making it a perfect introduction to heated classes and a good midpoint for those who like it warmer, but would rather not have the heat extreme. Most classes do not add extra humidity.
IRON Ritual I & II
In a yoga studio, movement and breath become your ritual, your medicine, and your sanctuary. Strength training in a yoga studio is no different. It is a mirror to your inner world and helps you discover your individual potency.
IRON Ritual I & II is a high-efficiency dumbbell strength training class designed to build lean muscle, increase strength, and improve functional stability. These sessions utilize compound, multi-joint movements—such as squats, lunges, presses, and rows—to maximize muscle engagement. While the primary focus is on dumbbells, we will occasionally incorporate yoga blocks, sliders, small exercise balls, and resistance bands to increase the challenge.
In this class, you will be encouraged to lift heavier than in a typical Sculpt, Barre, or Pilates session. By targeting every major muscle group through 3–5 sets with a focus on time under tension, you will push your limits and build serious, functional strength.
Create your ritual on Monday evenings at 6pm (IRON Ritual II) and Friday mornings at 9am (IRON Ritual I). Expect a rockin' playlist, self development, making noise, community, and support to tap into strength you didn't know you had.
Taking IRON Ritual I is NOT a pre-requisite for taking II.
Mindful Vinyasa
This slow-to-moderate Vinyasa class is a sacred space to arrive fully—into your body, your breath, and the present moment. We’ll move with intention, flowing mindfully from pose to pose, guided by breath and grounded in awareness.
Expect steady, nourishing sequences that build warmth without rushing, inviting you to root into the earth and connect deeply with your mind, body and soul. Each practice is designed to support balance—strength and softness, effort and ease, movement and stillness. All levels are welcome.
Come exactly as you are—open, curious, and ready to move, breathe, and grow together.
Mobility with Props
In this class we utilize props such as a chair, the wall, blocks, bolsters, straps and our yoga mat to explore creating more stable movement in our bodies.
With the support of props, we can eliminate some of the mobility challenges that might be present in our body currently while at the same time focusing on building strength to support our joints and the movements that we would like to be able to do or maintain doing.
This class is suitable for all types of movers from those who are looking to stay independent as they age to those who are working at maintaining mobility for athletics and everyone else too.
Sanctuary
Enter the Sanctuary. A sacred, safe space for exploring the innermost parts of your being.
You are invited to take an hour to be fully present and explore how your body, breath, and movement can guide you into your inner world. This practice is a tool to cultivate the feeling state that best serves you.
In Sanctuary, you will get comfortable, as Kelli reads to you for 5-10 minutes from works that inspire contemplation. The practice will then be a moving meditation on the theme utilizing breathwork, a slow flow that includes moments of both challenge and restoration, and somatics. This practice will uncover where you are right now and help you recognize that the truth of your personal experience is never truly an either/or, but an intertwining of energies. Feel and work with the energy that creates your experience.
Reconnect with your ENTIRE body and step off your mat feeling more equanimous.
Wall Yoga
An alignment-oriented approach to yoga, students use the wall as a prop to deepen their practice by opening and creating space in the body. Some poses are held for several minutes and with the use of the wall and floor, a more intense stretch is achieved. This class is great for all levels (especially beginners and people who need help improving flexibility).
Yoga Sculpt
A Yoga Sculpt class is a dynamic fusion of yoga, strength training, and cardio bursts, creating a high-energy workout. Led in a studio setting, it combines traditional yoga poses with free weights, resistance bands, or bodyweight exercises to elevate your practice. The session often incorporates upbeat music to motivate and energize participants throughout the class. Expect to challenge your muscles, build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance endurance while embracing the mindfulness of yoga. With a focus on breath control and alignment, this class aims to sculpt and tone your body while fostering a sense of balance and well-being.

Common Questions
This is one of the most common problems people report when they start meditating. Try using a mantra. The word “mantra” is a Sanskrit word which literally means “mind tool.” Think of a positive thought to focus on, or choose a word or phrase to repeat in your mind.
Here’s a 15-second mantra experiment to try:
Continue to silently repeat the words “health, happiness, love" in your mind for 15 seconds.
What did you think about during that 15 seconds? Do you even remember? No? Great! Now try and do it for just a little longer. Each time your thoughts start to run wild, imagine them as clouds in the sky. Acknowledge each as it passes before returning to your mantra.
Yoga on a full stomach is no fun, but practicing when you’re starving isn’t a good idea either. We recommend eating a light snack one hour before class or a full meal 2-3 hours before class. This way, your body will be properly fueled without any digestive issues.
Wear comfortable clothing that is stretchy and/or loose fitting. Besides that, just bring a yoga mat and an open mind. Don’t have your own mat? You can borrow one from us ($1 mat rental at the hot studio)! Coming in for a hot class? Bring a towel and some water, baby.
Thinking you have to be flexible to do yoga is a myth. Yoga was actually created specifically to help you gain more flexibility, thereby loosening tight muscles and preventing future injury.
All of our classes are appropriate for yogis of all levels. Our instructors are well-trained and very knowledgeable on different variations of each pose. They will provide options with different modifications throughout your class. Ultimately, just listen to your body and do what feels good. Your class choice depends entirely on what you are looking for.
Try restorative yoga for a relaxing and stress-relieving yoga experience. Try power yoga, HIIT, or hot yoga for a more intense and challenging class. Just want to have fun and let loose? Join us for an upbeat flow in a Vinyasa Flow or Aerial Yoga class. If you just want to stretch our and pay some special attention to tight muscles, come in for our stretch + flow, wall yoga, or yin class options.

There are many different styles of yoga, but each is based on breath and posture. Vinyasa consists of moving one breath with one movement as you flow through a series of postures to get your blood flowing and body moving. We offer a variety of yoga styles to suit a variety of needs and explorations including relaxation, deep stretching, strengthening, alignment, and balance. Fun Fact: Did you know that yoga is more than just the poses we do on our mats? It’s a question we hear a lot — 'what kind of yoga do you teach?' “Hatha” yoga is a pretty common response. “Hatha” is a generic term, which encompasses all styles of physical yoga.
Meditation is considered "raja yoga." Living the yogi life of selfless service is "karma yoga." "Jnana yoga" is about learning and being open to new ideas and trying new experiences. As yogis, we practice living the yogic lifestyle by following a series of commitments called the Yamas & Niyamas. Through this practice, we commit to living in truth and moderation, respectfully and generously, and without greed, desire, harm, or stealing. We commit to living in self-discipline and exploring knowledge, self reflection and contemplation, to pursuing positive and pure thinking, practicing proper hygiene, and fueling our bodies and minds with healthy food and drink.
There are TONS of benefits of yoga, both mentally and physically.
For the body, yoga increases core strength, lowers blood pressure, helps with weight management, aids in digestion, detoxifies the body, relieves pain and tension, increases flexibility, improves posture, and boosts the immune system.
For the mind, yoga helps increase self-acceptance and mental awareness, improves concentration and the ability to focus on the present, neutralizes stress, improves memory, boosts confidence, and balances the brain hemispheres.
We also practice deep breathing in yoga. Breathing deeply keeps the mind focused, clears the lungs, and increases circulation, which oxygenates your entire system. Physical exertion of any kind is also a gamechanger for stress reduction.
Because of the concentration yoga requires, you'll also notice that daily troubles seem to melt away during your time on the mat.
These are just a few of the magical benefits you can look for while practicing the art of yoga.
Our classes at Indigo Yoga are geared towards those who are very new to yoga. We walk you through poses step by step and move at a nice and easy pace. This will keep you safe and help you learn the alignment of each posture while building strength and slowly opening up tight muscles. We also offer options for advanced yogis to spice things up.
Tips on class etiquette:
1. Arrive early. Entering class after it has begun can be distracting and stressful for other students and the instructor.
2. Plan to stay for the whole class. If you know you’ll need to leave early, let the instructor know before class and leave before Savasana begins.
3. Leave your shoes at the door.
4. Bring your own mat or borrow one from the studio, avoid stepping on the mats of others, and do not use mats that are stored at the studio. These belong to other members.
5. Leave your cellphone outside the room and set on silent.
6. Avoid heavily scented perfumes, colognes, or lotions that could be irritating to others (and on the other side of the spectrum, please maintain proper hygiene!).
7. Let the instructor know about any physical issues before class.
8. Avoid talking during class. If you need an instructor’s assistance, it’s okay to wave them down. Otherwise, please keep conversation to a minimum).
9. Clean your mat and put away any props you used after class.
