Some yoga postures seem impossible at first glance – Visvamitrasana is one of them. Is it a hip opener? An arm balance? As with all complicated postures (or problems) we’ll break it down into bite-size pieces, and then put it back together. Expect arm and core strengthening and hip, shoulder, and hamstring opening. We’ll work progressively to compass pose, then see what happens when we flip it on its side.
