Saturday, January 30th from 11:00AM-12:30PM

The Yamas and Niyamas are the first two limbs of Patanjali’s 8 limbed path as described in the Yoga Sutras. These yogic principals serve as road map toward a pure yoga practice, both on and off the mat. Join us in a discussion of the philosophy of the Yamas + Niamas as we go on an exploration of the how we can consciously bring them into our lifestyle.

This 90 minute workshop will focus on Yoga’s ethical guidelines from the first two limbs of Patanjali’s eightfold path. Samantha will explain these restraints and observances and how important it is to the yogic life.

You will experience examples for each through journaling and discussion as well as poses, mudras and mantras that will help you understand these ethical and moral codes on and off the mat.
