Michelle Boyer

Michelle Boyer

Michelle is a native New Jerseyan whose love for yoga has continued to grow over the past 10 years. Movement has always been an integral part of her life. In addition to yoga, she enjoys running, hiking, barre and anything else that gets her moving. She first discovered yoga in college and was instantly intrigued by the calm and release it induced in mind, body and spirit. Last summer, she took that intrigue to Bend, Oregon where she completed a 200-hour Vinyasa-based training. Since then, Michelle decided to leave her teaching position and pursue teaching yoga full-time.
Michelle believes that each person’s practice is as unique and sacred as their individual testimonies and that it brings us into closer relationship with the authentic self. She hopes to inspire people of all ages to become facilitators in their own healing through intentional movement and breath.

She received her 500hr certification from the Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda. Sarah also received an M.F.A. from The Actors Studio Drama School where she was a part of immersive training in modalities that included Alexander Technique and Linklater Voice and Speech. Tierney Farry

Tierney Farry

Tierney’s journey into the practice of yoga began as a way to help her find calm amidst a busy graduate studies program. Her own healing quickly evolved into a whisper to share the gift she had discovered in the ancient practice. Enamored with Eastern philosophy and spiritual study, and passionate about the practice of healing people, mind, body and spirit, Tierney entered into a 200 HR teaching training program. She is forever grateful to teachers and loving guides Shannon Elliot and Linda Hom, for inspiring her practice in the most beautiful way and for fostering in her the eternal student. Tierney’s passion for continuous learning lands her at conferences and workshops on meditation and mindfulness, yoga, and other integrative healing modalities. Fascinated with the power of yoga as a holistic science, Tierney is curious about the integration of the ancient practice of Ayurveda with modern health and wellness. Tierney’s mission is to inspire and ignite students’ minds and hearts to contribute to healing the planet and the whole of humanity. Tierney’s classes ask students to flex the muscles as well as the mind in alignment-style Vinyasa classes, infused with pranayama and meditation. Playful and soft, Tierney knows how to challenge the mind and body as well as soothe the heart offering a practice that will allow students to dance between playing to their edge and letting go. “Stay open to miracles!”

When she isn’t doing yoga, Rachel enjoys cooking and eating food, spending time with friends, hiking and exploring what the Northeast has to offer! Yoga has given so much to Rachel, and she hopes to pass that on to her students.
